Windows 10 Sleeping Mode Issues - How to Fix Them Easily!

One of the big complaints I hear from Windows Vista users is about Windows 10 sleeping modes not working. It seems that most people are having issues with this new Windows update. Windows Vista used to be able to automatically switch into sleep mode when the computer was left idle for a while. The issue with this is that the computer would either not sleep at all or would wake up several times an hour. Sometimes the computer would even crash and restart.

With Windows 10, you can no longer do this. Instead, it seems like your computer will just turn off by itself. No power save mode, nothing. I have tried several things to solve this issue, but I was unsuccessful. Eventually I came to the conclusion that my computer was just "too old" for this feature to work properly.

Then I learned that there were actually some simple steps I could take to make my computer sleep in Windows 10 sleeping mode... once again! But this time I did not try to go to Windows Registry Editor. Instead, I used the Windows Task Manager to switch my computer into sleeping mode. By pressing the keys Control, Alternate and Delete together, I was able to see my computer sleeping away.

This method worked for me... for the time being. However, after some research I found that there were some third party tools which allows me to turn my computer into sleeping mode very easily. I quickly discovered that there are a variety of different programs available on the Internet for free to download. One tool in particular is called "Dynamic Windows Sleep Scheduler", which is a free download.

After downloading this program, I installed it and let it run through my computer. After some time, it automatically switched my computer into sleeping mode and was great to use. It allowed me to customize how many times I wanted my screen to turn off, which is useful if you work on your PC at night. Another great feature is the ability to set the Windows Task Manager to automatically switch my PC into sleeping mode every time I wasn't using it.

So far, these Windows 10 sleeping mode issues with my computer are all gone. However, because I use this software at night as well, I am still having screen freezes, even when the computer is in sleeping mode! Luckily, there's a simple solution to this - all you have to do is follow these simple steps:

Press Windows Logo to open Windows Task Manager. Double-click "My Computer" to display the control panel for your computer. If it is powered on, you will see a battery next to the screen. Clicking the + sign in the lower right corner will switch your computer into sleep mode, so you can simply double-click the power button to turn off your computer and jump back to Windows Task Manager.

If you have a laptop that isn't plugged in, you can also perform a similar trick to get into sleep mode. First, open a different Windows Task Manager by clicking on the + sign in the lower right corner of your screen. You will then see two tabs, one for "Online" and another for "My Computer." Clicking any one of those tabs will switch your computer into online browsing mode, allowing you to access the Internet without being trapped in Windows 10 sleeping mode.

When in online browsing mode, you can easily switch back to using Windows 10 by clicking on the power button + the return key. Once you have successfully switched back to Windows, your screen should be locked for a few seconds. Once the lock expires, Windows will automatically restart, allowing you to use your PC again. To ensure no one else gets online during this time, set your password and start up Windows explorer, so you can be sure you're safe from potential hackers.

If you're still having trouble with Windows 10 not properly waking you back into Windows, try running a Windows diagnostic scan. This tool can look inside the registry of your operating system and fix any errors or problems that are causing your computer to stop working. After running the tool, you should see a detailed list of all the errors that your PC may have. Click through each one and learn how to fix it. Don't forget to reboot your computer after running the diagnostic scan to make sure everything is running smoothly.

These Windows 10 sleeping mode issues might not be a big problem if you have an old PC that you've been using for quite a while. However, if you're buying a brand new computer, you need to make sure that you don't have any problems when you switch it on for the first time. That's because it's possible that Windows could be confused with an outdated program that's causing the issue. Or, Windows might simply take too long to boot up or shutdown. To ensure Windows doesn't have any problems when your system starts up, it's recommended you use a free Windows registry cleaner tool that can clean out the registry and get rid of any problems that might be slowing down Windows 10.
